SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES INFORMATION
The Wags &Whiskers Gala is being held on Friday, November 20,
2009 at the North Carolina Aquarium and is a fundraiser for
five non-profit 501 ( c ) 3 charitable animal welfare
organizations in Dare and Currituck Counties. We anticipate the
event to become an annual fundraiser. The Gala will include the
following:

Musical entertainment by the
band “The Crowd”
-
Entertainment by Selvis (the
female Elvis)
-
Silent and Live Auction with
Auctioneer Bill Rea
-
Heavy Hors D’Oeuvres and
Beverages (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) service provided by
Kelly’s Restaurant
-
Education and Outreach for the
Animal Welfare
Organizations in Dare and
Currituck Counties.
The Wags & Whiskers Gala will utilize the entire NC Aquarium
facility and is anticipating the attendance to exceed 400
guests. Ticket prices will be $45.00/ticket and $75/couple. All
profits from the event will be divided equally between the
following Non-Profit 501 ( c ) 3 Charitable Animal Welfare
Organizations (see Mission Statements on following page):

Corporate Sponsorship Levels Include:

3 Paw Level Sponsorship includes top level placement with
Logo inclusion in all print advertisements placed after
September 1, 2009, mention in all radio advertising, top
level placement in event program, top level logo inclusion
on event t-shirts, top level placement on event banner, six
(6) complimentary tickets to event and recognition at the
event.

2 PAW Level Sponsorship includes secondary level placement
in all print advertising placed after September 1, 2009,
secondary placement in event program, secondary logo
placement on event t-shirts, secondary placement on event
banner, recognition at the event and 4 complimentary tickets
to event.

1 PAWS $500 - $900
1 Paw Level Sponsorship includes lower level placement in
all print advertising placed after September 1, 2009, third
level placement in event program, third level placement on
event t-shirts, recognition at the event and 2
complimentary tickets to the event.

Animal Lovers Assistance League
We are a 501(c)
3non-profit organization of animal lovers that operates the Animal Shelter in
Currituck County, North Carolina. Active in our community, the Animal Lovers
Assistance League not only operates the Currituck County Animal Shelter and
provides compassionate care, exercise and veterinary care to the wonderful
animals available for adoption, we are dedicated to the prevention of cruelty
to animals, the relief of suffering among animals and providing humane
education.
Coastal Humane Society
The Coastal
Humane Society is a 501 (c ) 3 all-volunteer charitable organization working on
the Outer Banks to ensure all animals are cared for and no owner or caretaker is
forced to give up a pet because of financial hardship. The Society helps pay
for low-cost pet spay and neuter, vaccinations, and emergency medical care.
Coastal Humane also sponsors the Dare County Social Services Pet Food Bank for
owners needing help feeding pets. The Society has helped more than 4,000
animals, owners, and caretakers in Dare County and lower Currituck County since
1997.
Feline Hope
Feline Hope is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit, no kill, all
volunteer organization that provides spay, neuter, and medical assistance to our
community to enable owners to keep their pets. It is also dedicated to providing
food, medical care, and loving homes to homeless cats and kittens when their
owners can no longer keep them.
Friends of Pooh
The Friends of Pooh Fund is a
registered 501(c)3 charitable all-volunteer organization which provides
financial assistance to qualified full-time residents of Dare & Currituck
Counties (NC) whose dogs and cats have been diagnosed with cancer and who cannot
afford the necessary treatment due to financial limitations.Treatment may
include surgery, oral and intravenous chemotherapy, and palliative care. Since
its inception in late 2006, Friends of Pooh has helped more than 30 animals with
cancer who would otherwise not have been able to undergo the necessary
treatment.
Outer Banks SPCA
Outer Banks SPCA is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit
charitable organization At the
Outer Banks SPCA, our mission is:

Providing education regarding animal
care and welfare,
·
Preventing cruelty to animals,
·
Eliminating animal overpopulation
·
Operating an animal shelter dedicated
to providing humane care of lost, injured, unwanted and abused animals and,
·
Placing homeless animals with caring,
responsible people who share our commitment to providing proper care for our
furry friends.
